 26 The destination for October\'s mid-week run is Violet Town, where we wi
 ll be visiting the BaldArchy Prize exhibition in the Violet Town Community
  Hall, featuring over 40 paintings. The BaldArchy competition is described
  as Australia\'s most irreverent portrait award celebrating wit andsatire,
  featuring comic and caricature style portraits of well-known public figur
 es in politics,sport and entertainment.Please note, there is an $8 per per
 son entry fee. For any members wishing to travel in convoy we will depart 
 from the clubrooms at 9.15 am. Weare expected at Jackson\'s Cafe next to t
 he Ellen Francis Hotel for morning tea.Following the viewing of the exhibi
 tion the plan is to have a light lunch, also at Jackson\'s. Thecafe serves
  a large selection of toasted sandwiches, focaccias, gourmet pies and croi
 ssants,with gluten free and vegan options. Beer and wine also available.Sh
 ould that many members turn up that we just overwhelm Jackson\'s the cafe 
 over the road alsodoes focaccias and excellent steak sandwiches, among a l
 ist of other items.You may wish to take your own food and drinks but there
  is very limited public seating in thetown.Numbers will be taken at Octobe
 r\'s meeting.If you cannot attend the Thursday meeting, please message Tre
